About

SalahNow helps Muslims everywhere pray on time. We publish daily prayer times, monthly timetables, Sehri and Iftar times and the Qibla direction for more than 9,000 cities in every country.

How we calculate

Times are calculated astronomically from the sun’s position for each city’s coordinates and time zone. Each country uses its locally recognised method by default, such as Umm al-Qura for Saudi Arabia, the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi for Pakistan and India, ISNA for North America, Diyanet for Turkey and the Muslim World League for Europe. Visitors can change the method and Asr school on any city page.

Local mosques may adjust times by a few minutes. Always follow your mosque for congregational prayer.
